The Walking Dead Season 3 Episode 12 Clear

Realizing they are heavily outgunned against the Governor's forces, Rick leads an expedition to get more weapons.

At the conclusion of last week's episode, Rick (Andrew Lincoln) assigned Michonne (Danai Gurira) and Carl (Chandler Riggs) to join him on an excursion beyond the prison walls in search of ammunition for the inevitable second attack by the Governor (David Morrissey). The preview clips for tonight's episode 'Peace' show the trio will end up in a small Georgian town that has been fortified against zombies. A sniper is holed up there, and the identity of that sniper has been outed all over the Internet. Spoilers are ahead so proceed at your own risk.

The sniper that Rick and his team will encounter is said to be Morgan, the first "human" Rick encountered after awakening in the hospital way back in Season 1. Rick had been trying to contact Morgan via radio up until the beginning of Season 2, but gave up after he and his group settled down at Hershel's farm. Morgan had a son, but there's no word on whether he will reappear or not.

Let's say it is Morgan who Rick finds. This could prove the turning point for Rick and begin his ascent back into a position of sanity and leadership. For all that has gone wrong in Rick's life since Hershel's farm, realizing Morgan is alive and well could help jolt Rick back into his senses. He'll need to be on his toes in order to take the Governor head-on again.

Andrea almost going through with Carol's idea to kill the Governor shows that she's snapped out of his spell. Only her uneasiness killing a "human" versus a "zombie" saved the Governor's life. Andrea's role will likely prove pivotal into the upcoming episodes headed toward the season finale. Maybe she will even sway Milton to break his blind allegiance to Woodbury's resident dictator.

The Walking Dead: Season 3 episode 312 'Peace' premieres tonight on AMC in its usual time slot at 9/8c. This week it won't have the Academy Awards to go up against so I expect ratings to tick up a little. You can watch an online streaming version of 'Peace' for a minimal cost at Amazon.com here starting early tomorrow morning. Each previous episode from Season 3 and past seasons is available to stream online at Amazon right now. There is no official live free streaming version of The Walking Dead to watch on mobile devices, computers and iPads / tablets.
